All job hunters should think twice before contacting any recruiter, because recruiters will just blast your resume to every company in your industry, and every prospective employer in your industry will thus be obligated to pay the recruiter's commission if you are hired. I've learned the hard way that many times a company that might have been interested in you will simply take a pass if they don't believe in paying recruiter fees. You are better off to just send your own resume directly to companies. – read answer
