I'd like to get a job in China since I grew up there and because the economy appears healthy. I currently work as a marketing strategist in a software company in the U.S. How can I target potential employers?

Daniel's advice

Determine how you'd like to apply your skills, and then identify and contact companies you believe will be a good fit. Try American high-tech companies with a presence in China, asking your U.S. contacts to point you to likely prospects. Talk to their recruiters about how you're uniquely qualified to assist them.

You can research opportunities by typing phrases like "China jobs" or "IT jobs in China" into search engines such as Google. This process will take time and energy, but if you are really serious about moving back to China, it will be worth the effort.
